Landscape architects Grant Associates picked up the Landscape Institute’s Highly Commended Urban Design and Masterplanning category award held at the Bloomsbury Big Top, London on Thursday 21st November 2013.
The project li
es at the heart of the Manchester Millennium Village regeneration strategy. The Masterplan covers approximately 15 hectares with the Water Park and canal network taking up approximately 4 hectares. Working with Urban Splash, English Partnerships and New East Manchester and Manchester CC ? Grant Associates assisted SMC Alsop in developing the framework plan for New Islington.
Grant Associates was subsequently appointed by EP to oversee the design and implementation of all the public realm and landscape works for New Islington. Hardscape supplied Neland clay pavers and bespoke benches to the scheme. Congratulations!
