Leicester SphpjW5yOW7137quare, often called West End, is the entertainment heart of London where British cinema showcases its film premieres and industry-related special occasions. Westminster City Council’s redevelopment project is intended to rejuvenate the busy Central London square to provide a pleasant public space for both Londoners and visitors to the capital. The work includes provision of new contemporary granite paving for the square, gardens and side streets, new functional and decorative lighting, a unique white granite ribbon seating design, and contemporary planting and new stainless steel railings and gates for the gardens. Hardscape are proud to be involved in the supply of hard landscape materials and bespoke associated features to the scheme liaising with the architects Burns and Nice, the contractors SIAC and the client Westminster City Council. The scheme is due to be completed in the Spring of 2012.
