The HS2 Economic Growth Conference was a one-day conference, held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, which delved into the transformation of key city centres and city regions through mass investment and development due to the arrival of HS2 to each and every one of those regions.

HS2 is set to bring transformational regeneration and development to the UK, boosting inward investment and economic growth. The biggest names from the public and private sectors were in attendance – with collaboration across the construction, property and investment sectors a key focus enabling the delivery of new homes, city centre growth, regeneration and more.

The event, facilitated by Built Environment Networking, represented a unique opportunity to be involved in the largest ever infrastructure scheme the UK has ever seen, allowing the attendees to build commercially rewarding contacts with the biggest names in the business, develop a pipeline of work opportunities and be at the forefront of the HS2 agenda as it transforms city centres and city regions. The one-day conference revealed new insights into future development plans across the UK through a series of exceptional panel discussions and gripping presentations.

Hardscape was able to demonstrate its involvement over many years of involvement in material supply to specific key train stations throughout the UK including Birmingham New Street and more locally, Kirkstall Forge station in Leeds.

HS2 aims to be a catalyst for growth, and the conference was a must-attend event to be kept up to date, in the know and at the forefront of the development of the entire HS2 project.
