Hardscape were once again proud sponsors of The Natural Stone Awards Ceremony 2020 held online this time on Friday 19th March 2021, which of course would have normally been a celebration in-person event in December 2020.

It is always a highlight event in the industry calendar and provides an opportunity for the various professionals involved with the natural stone sector to celebrate and showcase a range of fantastic projects and the teams behind them and of course the companies involved that make up this industry.

The online awards proved to be a great opportunity for those that might not have been able to attend the physical ceremonies to join in with the celebrations for the winners and commended entrants. Once again, TV presenter Jim Rosenthal did the honours of hosting the ceremony, with an introduction from the Stone Federation’s CEO, Jane Buxey and of course the ceremony wouldn’t have been the same without the voice of the National Lottery, Alan Dedicoat, who announced all the category winners and finalists.

Hardscape were equally proud to have supplied Kobra granite for the commended Gaydon Triangle project in the Landscape category and for supplying Kilkenny blue limestone for the Pagan Pillars and Roundels project which proved to be the winner in the Carving, Lettering and Sculpture category.

As part of Hardscape’s sponsorship entitlement, Dave Lowe, Hardscape’s Specification Director, presented a CPD with a comprehensive overview of specifying natural stone entitled “Sustainability of Natural Stone: A Landscape CPD” which took the form of an online webinar the day before the actual awards ceremony.

A huge congratulations again to all this winners and finalists and we look forward to being involved once again for the Stone Federation’ Natural Stone Awards in 2022.
