Hardscape are delighted to learn that the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) have received the fantastic news that ETI were successful applicants of Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) grant funding under the Human Rights and Democracy Programme.

As ‘achiever’ status memphp1tmhsX6024bers of ETI Hardscape collaborate with Trade Unions, NGOs, DFID, ETI & other corporates to address the root cause of poverty in developing countries by ensuring that their overseas supply chain  work force are free from exploitation & discrimination, and work in conditions of freedom, security and equity.

Earlier this year an application was put forward to support and advance ETIs collaborative work in the Rajasthan Sandstone sector under Business and Human Rights, for the receipt of £103,000 over two years and this has now been awarded. Well done ETI and all those we work with in the Rajasthan Sandstone Workers Group.
