Hardscape showed its support to Landscape Architect and Garden Design Students at the University of Greenwich’s end-of-year show.
The event saw 13 students, due to complete their degrees this year, showcase their work to key members of the industry, including potential employers.
Hardscape helped to fund hard-backed books that beautifully displayed the students’ work from the year, including 46-pages of full colour images and text.
The theme for the year, entitled – Breaking Barriers – tasked the students with designing a project, from concept through to construction details. This included learning about urban design, master-planning and pocket parks. They were also required to shed preconceptions, personal taste and prejudiced to tackle the challenge of designing for others.
Wherever possible, Hardscape supports the landscaping architects and designers of the future by contributing to and attending events, such as this.
The company also works with local communities and good causes to advise on projects and provides leftover materials at a heavily discounted price.
