Hardscape opened a ‘Materials Lab’ at its HQ premises in Egerton, Lancashire. It is a state-of-the-art space dedicated to inspiration, advice and networking for the designers and clients involved in hard landscaping.
More than 30 guests attended the launch event on Thursday 20th October. The Materials Lab showcases the range of natural and man-made, ethically sourced materials available from Hardscape. They can be used to enhance public and private projects, and for urban regeneration schemes.
During the opening, Hardscape previewed cutting-edge 3D technology featuring digital models of stone and hard landscaping materials. Representatives from landscape architects BCA Landscape and design agency and theme specialists Smiling Wolf wowed guests with a showreel of award-winning schemes created with Artscape, Hardscape’s bespoke design service.
The company’s technical experts were on hand to provide insights into the features of the different materials and capabilities of Hardscape’s high tech machinery, including etching, sandblasting and waterjet cutting.
